Millie Gardiner

I was brought up on different building sites as my parents underwent various projects, so I’ve always been around construction. Because I’d spent my whole childhood growing up on building sites and seeing my parent’s projects grow brick by brick, the process of pen and paper to a habitable space became like magic to me. I studied Architecture at Oxford Brookes last summer and its great being able to talk to clients about their own projects. I love the Barbican because of the integration of nature alongside such brutalist architecture.
