Ideal Home, May 2016
22 Apr 2016
Ideal Home has featured one of our beautiful Builds in their May edition. We designed and built this extension in 2014, prior to Lambeth council’s revision on wraparounds. To adhere to planning policy, we extended to the rear and side, thus avoiding the wraparound style that Lambeth opposed. The finished result is quite a show stopper – and the bi-folds at a 90 degree angle create a really unique look. We added an internal window to keep a strong connection between the front and rear of the home, and give the light distribution a boost.
The homeowner chose to keep the kitchen colours very calm and minimalistic, and to keep the attention on the floor tiles. The patterned tiles offer a wonderful contrast and ensure the room is kept interesting but understated.
