Latest News: Diversity Day 2017
As part of our Ten Year celebrations, we hosted Diversity Day on Thursday 4 May.
Food is love, and we could think of no better way than to celebrate the rich diversity of our team than a “bring and share” supper hosted at our office in Clapham. Wearing black tie, the team were divided into 3 sub teams: Team Starter, Team Main and Team Dessert. Each team member prepared a dish from their home origin which meant a lot to them whilst growing up or in present day. The sub teams took their turns serving the table and before each course got underway, there was a 60 second presentation by each team member on the origin of their dish, the ingredients and why it was important to them.
There were many highlights – and to name just a few: Mel da Serra da Estrela served with aged Manchego (Clara & Marta), Suya chicken & beef (David), Pastitsio (Kyrs) and to finish….Leana’s showstopper, White Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake.
The evening was rounded off with 10 year old digestifs from Portugal and Scotland.
