Located in the heart of Lambeth, planning policy dictated that this project needed to adhere to a particular style to fit in within the conservation area it resides within. While a wraparound extension wasn’t possible, we experimented with various different design options with adherence to the council planning procedures, and the project came to its own with a Side and Rear Extension.

We were focused on the finer details of the project, in order to enhance the properties character whilst still being sympathetic to the host building. These details included lantern skylights, conservation style skylights, an inflected roof light and the arched French door that leads into the garden. The original idea developed into something extraordinary, with the property exuding a unique charm.
